More to Go
On my first quarter journey, I learned so many things.
We learned about the history of the internet and the ins and outs of blogging.
Our ICT teacher was helpful in making our lessons more understandable. This
subject enhanced my knowledge by teaching me the basic concepts and operation
of many tools. Quizzes and activities helped me improve my time management
skills. These tasks helped me effectively manage my schedule. Lastly, blogging
helped me to express myself more openly, allowing me to connect with new
people.
When school started on August 29th, we students began
getting up early in the morning, taking showers, and eating breakfast. Despite
the heavy rain, we students managed to arrive at school because we wanted our
future to be successful. I still remember experiencing difficulties with myself
throughout my first week of classes. Back then, I was thinking, "How am I
going to survive this school year again?" As a student who always seeks
academic validation, I always have this kind of question that stresses me out,
but those questions help me so much in order for me to continue and look
forward to the answer. I thought my first quarter would be difficult, but with
the help of my best friend, they made my first quarter journey enjoyable.
They've always had my back, and when I'm having a hard time understanding our
lesson, they're always there to help. They always make my day special, as I
share my laughter and tears with them. Thank you to my friends Patricia,
Akkiko, Holiday, Sharmaine, and Celine for making my first quarter joyful.
Moving on, I will continue to make myself and my
family proud. I will always look forward to each day to make my Grade 10
journey memorable. I will always continue to take risks rather than regret not
trying the things I want to do. This advice from my daddy, who is in heaven
now, will always be my motto in life: “Baka adda or baka awan.” He simply means
to try and to see what the result will be, whether it will be good or bad, but
at least you tried. Lastly, I will always continue to have an open mind in
order to get things under control.
